Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult with the exception of our Spring and Summer STEM camps. Regular business hours and all other events require adult supervision.

Kiddy Parade: Friday, October 25th at 4:00 PM
Grand Parade: Saturday, October 26th at 11:00 AM
Professional Show: Saturday, October 26th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. For the professional show we will also sell hot dogs.

A membership gives you free admission for one year and discounts on special events such as STEM camps. Your membership helps us keep our science center open. We appreciate you!
Winter nEd Theatre will begin on Saturday December 7th! In December we will watch an educational film every Saturday with hot chocolate and coffee. These videos are intended those with an adult level understanding of science, but all ages are welcome.
Holiday Shopping Children’s Workshop: December 07 & 14
Leave your little ones with us while you get some holiday shopping done. A craft activity and science film will be provided. Ages 5 to 15.

Independence Science and Technology Center, Inc
is a hands-on exhibits and activities center that provides special programs through out the year. See our life sized Deinonychus, Komodo Dragon, Dodo bird, and have Albert Einstein greet you at the door. There is a play room for the preschool age children with a puppet stage and Thomas the train set up. A larger HO train set is on display. The Van der Graaf will make your hair stand on end and the Anti-gravity simulator will give you a spin. Area schools are encouraged and welcome to schedule an educational field trip.

Field trips and group tours can be scheduled anytime during the day.
