Free Event! September nEd Talk: The Science of Smarts – Intelligence Psychology and You!
Join us on September 14th at 2:00 PM as we learn from author W.D. Cullum the Science of Smart: Intellectual Psychology and You. In this presentation Cullum will focus on the quote from Albert Einstein, “Everybody is a Genius; but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” He will cover the history of human intellect, dive into the psychological field of Multiple Intelligences Theory, and explore the globalist approach to understanding brilliance. This event is free and open to the public. For the consideration of our speaker children under 15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Health on Purpose Wellness Fair
Join us at the Health On Purpose Wellness Fair on Friday, September 20th from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM. There will be many booths with different health related opportunities available. Get your blood screening or a flu shot at the reduced cost of $25. Balance, blood pressure, depression, hearing, and hereditary cancer screening are free. Our booth with include a few of our favorite traveling exhibits and a new exhibit on gluten sensitivity as it relates to health. Can you guess all the common household foods that contain gluten?

Independence Science and Technology Center, Inc
is a hands-on exhibits and activities center that provides special programs through out the year. See our life sized Deinonychus, Komodo Dragon, Dodo bird, and have Albert Einstein greet you at the door. There is a play room for the preschool age children with a puppet stage and Thomas the train set up. A larger HO train set is on display. The Van der Graaf will make your hair stand on end and the Anti-gravity simulator will give you a spin. Area schools are encouraged and welcome to schedule an educational field trip.
