Pie Day and Albert Einstein’s Birthday: Join us for trivia and pie in celebration of Albert Einstein’s birthday which is also pi day on March 14th from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM. This event is FREE and open to the public.
Spring Break STEM camp: The Scientific Method. Students ages 6 to 16 will learn to conduct experiments and learn about the scientific method from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Monday, March 17th and Tuesday, March 18th.
nEd Talks – Storm Inspections by Samual Bibby: Join us for an informative lecture on storm inspections at 2:00 PM on Saturday, April 12th. Discussion to follow. This event is FREE and open to the public.
Join us in celebration of Earth Day on Saturday, April 19th from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM for an educational documentary and a crafty snack! We will be making worms in dirt cups. This event is FREE and open to the public.

Independence Science and Technology Center, Inc
is a hands-on exhibits and activities center that provides special programs through out the year. See our life sized Deinonychus, Komodo Dragon, Dodo bird, and have Albert Einstein greet you at the door. There is a play room for the preschool age children with a puppet stage and Thomas the train set up. A larger HO train set is on display. The Van der Graaf will make your hair stand on end and the Anti-gravity simulator will give you a spin. Area schools are encouraged and welcome to schedule an educational field trip.
