Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult with the exception of our Spring and Summer STEM camps. Regular business hours and all other events require adult supervision.

Members ONLY! Join us on November 15th from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM for an exclusive workshop just for you.
Winter Break STEM Camp: Join us on December 29th and 30th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM for a STEM camp! We will learn about board game construction, create our own board games, and enjoy hot chocolate in our pajamas. See our event page to apply. Seating is limited.
Winter NED Theatre: Join us every Saturday in winter at 2:00 PM to watch an educational documentary followed by discussion. We will begin with the Science of Energy on Saturday, December 6th. All are welcome!

Independence Science and Technology Center, Inc
is a hands-on exhibits and activities center that provides special programs through out the year. See our life sized Deinonychus, Komodo Dragon, Dodo bird, and have Albert Einstein greet you at the door. There is a play room for the preschool age children with a puppet stage and Thomas the train set up. A larger HO train set is on display. The Van der Graaf will make your hair stand on end and the Anti-gravity simulator will give you a spin. Area schools are encouraged and welcome to schedule an educational field trip.

Field trips and group tours can be scheduled anytime during the day.
